"I ask myself how I feel, now that we’re all back home. My main feeling is gratitude. Gratitude to our donors. Gratitude to my staff. And gratitude especially to the international doctors, nurses, and physical therapists volunteering their skills. And now, I feel happiness that we’ve straightened the backs – and the lives - of these kids. They have the summer to recover, then head back to school. They now have a future to look forward to."
Dr. Rick Hodes upon returning from a FOCOS medical trip to Ghana (sponsored in part by the Entoto Foundation)

Different Paths, Common Goal
Through teamwork and collaboration with other charitable organizations, the Entoto Foundation is able to successfully sponsor its patients for the medical care they need. Each charity plays a critical role. By working together, we utilize the unique expertise and resources of each organization to achieve our common goal of helping others.
Some of the charitable organizations that we work with...
- AIMS (aimshospital.org) or the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences is a not-for-profit hospital in Kerala, India where the poor have access to advanced medical care in an atmosphere of love and compassion.
- JDC (jdc.org) or the American Jewish Distribution Committee addresses the health, food, and spiritual needs of communities around the world and is the employer of our extraordinary friend, Dr. Rick Hodes.
- FOCOS (orthofocus.org) or the Foundation of Orthopedics and Complex Spine is dedicated to providing orthopedics and spine care to the underserved in developing countries.
